How can I cancel my server immediately and receive credit?

If you want to cancel your server immediately, it’s no problem with us. In the web interface, you have the option to return your server (24 hours after ordering). You will receive the remaining runtime of your server as partial credit.

Which server can I cancel every second?

You can cancel the following servers every second:

  • KVM Configurable 2.0
  • Web Hosting (Plesk)

You cannot cancel the following services every second:

  • Dedicated Server
  • Smart Value Root Server (Packages)
  • Licenses

How can I cancel my server?

Log in to the web interface and find the server you want to cancel immediately in the navigation bar. Go to “Information”. Then click on “Cancellation Management”.

Now a new form opens, in which you can select “Delete immediately & receive remaining credit”. Then you will see how much credit you will receive.

Now you just have to submit the cancellation. After a few seconds, we will cancel the server and credit the remaining balance (runtime) to your credit account. Please note that we charge a small fee for the cancellation.

How can credit be donated to me?

You run a project that can be financially supported by other members? Or does your friend want to give you some credit? No problem! With our donation link, you can receive credit.

Where can I find the donation link?

First, log in to the web interface.

Then scroll down to the bottom of the homepage in the customer area. You will find a box with the information about your donation link. Pretty hidden, right?

Can I change the displayed name?

Yes, you can! You just have to contact our support. We will then change the name on your donation page to a name of your choice. This way you can make sure that your “real name” does not have to be leaked.

Further important information

Please note that donated credit can never be refunded or transferred to another user account.

Can I change the billing address?

Yes, you can change or determine the address on your invoices. If your current address or company name is incorrect, please first change your address in the web interface.

You can also directly specify a VAT ID there. This will be displayed on all subsequent invoices, along with the company name.

Adjust existing invoice

To change the address (including company name and VAT ID) on existing invoices, you need to briefly contact customer support. The address on existing invoices is not automatically changed if you modify it in the web interface due to legal regulations. An employee in the accounting department will take care of that for you.

Please note that we only update the address on top-up invoices. All other invoices have been paid with credit and are not suitable for your own accounting.

Why does my invoice not have VAT?

The invoices for our servers, domains and licenses are generally paid with your account credit. Since VAT is already charged when you top up your account, it is not charged on the service invoices. For this reason, no VAT will be shown on some of your invoices.

Therefore applies:

  • Top up credit: Value added tax shown
  • Buy/renew server: No VAT shown

(Where) can I get invoices with VAT?

Yes, when you make a transaction or top up your account balance, VAT will be shown and included on the corresponding invoice. You can download these invoices from the web interface at https://www.vionity.de/clientarea/my/transactions.

Overall, it is normal that invoices for our servers, domains and licenses do not include VAT, as this is already charged when you top up your credit.

How long is my credit valid?

If you load credit and do not use it, it will not lose its validity. You can use it at any time as long as you have an active account with us.

However, please note that according to the GDPR we may have to remove the data of inactive customer accounts. In this case, we would contact you by mail 30 days before deactivating your account.

Can I renew my server in advance?

Sadly, it is not possible to renew your server in advance. This is because our system would conflict with immediate server cancellations. If you want to cancel your server, you will get back the balance of the remaining term.

How is the renewal of my server done?

Your server will be renewed automatically if there are enough credits on your account 7 days before the expiration date. If there is not enough credit, the server will not be renewed and will be automatically cancelled after the expiration date. However, you can recharge your account at any time and extend the server by paying the invoice.

Can I change the billing cycle?

When ordering a server, you have to choose a billing cycle. Depending on the chosen duration, you will receive a price advantage.

Changing the cycle

If you want to change the cycle, you can do so by submitting a request to our support. A staff member will then change the cycle for you. Please note that the new cycle will only take effect from the next renewal.

If you use your Paysafecard for direct credit top-up, a fee of 13% will be charged from now on. The good news is that when topping up, you can choose whether to add the fee to the transaction or deduct it from your later balance. Here’s an example: If you want to top up €50 credit, the fee of €6.50 can either be added to the transaction, so that a total of €56.50 is paid, or you can choose to pay €50 and receive €43.50 credit.

In the past, we have set all prices so that the fees charged by Paysafecard Wertkarten GmbH are borne by all customers. After 8 years, we have decided not to transfer these fees to all customers in the further calculation of our service prices. Only a small percentage of our customers use paysafecard as a method for top-up. Therefore, it seems to us to be a fair means to continue to offer fair prices in the hosting industry.

If you do not want to pay any additional fees, you can use our other payment methods such as Paypal, Sofortüberweisung, credit card or bank transfer to top up your credit.

Can I automatically top up my balance?

Yes, you can also automatically top up your balance at Prepaid-Hoster. You have the option to use PayPal or a traditional bank transfer.

With PayPal

You can easily set up automatic balance top-ups through PayPal subscription in the web interface. Here’s how:

  • Sign in to the web interface
  • Open the “Customer Area” menu on the left
  • Click on “PayPal Subscriptions”
  • Click on “New Automatic Payment”
  • Customize the settings according to your preferences. You can activate multiple subscriptions.
  • Authorize the payment through PayPal

Your balance will now be automatically topped up through PayPal.

You can remove the subscription at any time directly in our web interface.

With Standing Order/Bank Transfer

In addition, we offer you the option to automatically top up your balance through your bank account. Simply set up a standing order and transfer the money to our account. You can find the necessary reference in the web interface under “Transactions” > “Set up Standing Order”.

A major advantage of this method is that you can also use the standing order as a regular payment. If you want to ensure that you always have enough balance in your account to use the service, you can set up the standing order to transfer the money automatically.

However, please note that the transfer must be executed 2-3 working days before the invoice date to ensure that the balance is on your account in time. This way, you can ensure that your service runs smoothly and that you don’t accidentally overlook a bill and get interrupted.
